Lowell Sun article: Daughters plead for Dracut man's return
DRACUT -- The three daughters of a Dracut man who has been missing since Tuesday pleaded for his return during a press conference Saturday afternoon at Dillon McAnespie Park.
Leo Coutu, a 49-year-old retired corrections officer, has been missing since about 5 p.m. Tuesday. His wife of 18 years, Tanya Coutu, said she and her two younger daughters Rylee, 17 and Lily, 11, went to her sister's house at 4:30 p.m. When they returned home, Leo Coutu was gone.
Coutu's oldest daughter, 19-year-old Jacquelyn, said during the press conference that it was not unusual for her father to take walks.
However, "it is very important to note my father has never done anything like this before. He has never disappeared before; this is completely out of his character," Jacqueline said.
Leo Coutu is 5-feet-4-inches tall, weighing about 130 pounds with fair skin, gray hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue-and-white striped polo shirt, blue shorts and sneakers.
Anyone with any information is asked to call Dracut police at 978-957-2123.
